Help Spread Holiday Cheer
Each year the Ohio Buckeye Chapter distributes small holiday gifts to people living in nursing homes or isolated in their own homes to help them feel connected and let them know that others care.
You can help by donating items for the bags or by volunteering to deliver holiday bags in your area.

Society Plans Dinner of Champions (DOC) Galas
Thomas J. Strauss, President and Chief Executive Officer of Summa Health System will be honored at the Akron/Canton DOC Gala on September 30, 2009.
Chris Connor, Chairman and CEO of The Sherwin Williams Company will be honored at the Cleveland DOC event on November 5, 2009.
Tables, tickets and sponsorship opportunities are all available. In addition, silent auction items are needed for both events.

Participate in our first ever basketball tournament!
On Saturday, October 3rd our first ever Just Cure It, 3-on-3 half court basketball tournament will tip off at Thomas Worthington High School in Worthington, Ohio.
Registration is available in two forms for both the men's and women's divisions.

Flying Pancake Breakfast
Come hungry and catch 'em if you can and support the National MS Society on Saturday, October 3rd at Thomas Worthington High School in Worthington, Ohio. From 8:00 - 11:00 a.m. we will be featuring an all you can eat breakfast complete with pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee all for $5 a person.
The breakfast will also kickoff Just Cure It. Stick around and enjoy the basketball games. No reservations are needed for the breakfast and parking is free.
Voting Taking Place November 3
Ohio will hold a general election on Tuesday, November 3rd. Most of the items are issues at a state, city or county level.
Deadline to register is October 5th.
